Dr Gordon Teasdale SportD, MSST, STA is a registered Sports Therapist, Sport Scientist, and an Ashtanga and Yin Yoga teacher. Gordon has a Doctorate in Sport Exercise and Health Sciences from the University of Kent, a Master’s degree in Applied Sport Science from the University of Worcester, a Bachelor’s degree in Bioscience and Psychology from the University of Cape Town and a Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Clinical Sports Therapy from the Active Health Group. He is also a Retül University certified Bike Fitter. In 2019 he completed the 200 hour Ashtanga and Yin Yoga Teacher training with the Bristol School of Yoga.

Governing and Professional Bodies

Gordon continues to build on his knowledge through continuing professional development (CPD) and is a member of the Society of Sports Therapists (MSST) and the Sports Therapy Association (STA). He is also a Retül University certified bike fitter.

Doctoral Study and Research Interests

Gordon has completed a Doctorate in Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences with the University of Kent. His research is focused on biotensegrity and optimal human performance. An adjunct of the research considered the role that fascia plays in injury, rehabilitation and sports performance.
